I am an undergraduate at the University of Mississippi majoring in biology (Class of 2018) and am from Olive Branch, MS. I work with Michael Clear in the Hom lab to screen for novel fungal-algal/cyanobacterial mutualisms. We hope to find patterns of interaction for more extensive study withregards to the evolution of mutualisms. I am a member of the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College, the American Medical Student Association, the Increasing Minority Access to Graduate Education (IMAGE) program, and am supported in part by the Ronald E. McNair Program.
