  • Graduate Student, Department of Biology, University of Mississippi

My primary research interest is in algal-microbe interactions and their co-evolution. I have an interest in understanding how microbial physiology may change in the context of a complex environment and community. I completed a B.S. in Environmental Science at UNC Chapel Hill in 2012. Immediately following graduation, I worked at Algenol Biofuels where I conducted research in the Systems Ecology and Integrated Biorefinery departments. I left Algenol in August 2015 to begin my Ph.D. in the Hom lab at the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss).
